I know there's already a playthrough, but I just wanted to complete the set of Religion Jam games on my channel... So you get 2 let's plays of your game! Lucky you!
Overall really good, and far less RNG than it appeared at first. Don't really have anything to add that Waldorf already said. Normally I hate custom battle systems in RPG Maker, but I had fun with this one!
Hey, the more playthroughs the better I can gauge where there is some room for improvement so thank you for this. I know the 'tutorial' isn't great (it was made in like 5 minutes when I was sleep deprived after all) but, and no offense here, you seriously didn't really bother paying attention to it and had a very rough start because of it. I'm glad you eventually figured it out and ended up having fun though.
Also, sorry but I can't not say it:
If suffering is so cool, how come there's none in Heaven? Checkmate, Christcucks! 😎
Yeah there was information overload with the tutorial, I couldn’t remember it all, and it didn’t really explain it very well, it was a bunch of text without any examples as far as I remember it.
As for the suffering thing, yeah I agree, heaven is weird… you got me there. I figured that for the bible to make sense, alot of it has to be ignored and discarded, and that there probably is suffering after all in heaven, it wouldn’t make any other sense otherwise.
Emseydev, my friend. What the actual hell is this?
This has to be the most blasphemous and random piece of media I ever saw in my entire life.
...and I loved it.
I was pleasantly surprised by the gameplay, Its's something unique I never saw before, but that is incredibly fun despite looking very simple. The randomness factor is what makes the minigame shine, even if sometimes too much randomness can really screw you up. But the fun part is always the one of discovery of the board and the choice of the plan. Also the random is the best way to win against stronger enemies at the end , usually by watching the CPU self-sabotage (sus) by playing under the uno-reverse tile.
I don't really agree with the reward for not dying, since it places the less good players even at a higher disadvantage. Luckily it doesn't work properly and I still got the reward for section 2 and 3 despite dying. Also because the extra turns feel necessary if you want to play comfortably in the second half, since without them you cannot check any tile without losing a chance to attack or heal.
Keep it up! I enjoy your content! ...well, most of it. C:
Here's the video if you're intrested. You gotta watch it at least for my epic Satan turn 1 kill.
I watched the video, the turn 1 kill was very funny. I wonder if I am going a little too easy on the players by prioritizing the enemy dying over them, hmm.... Maybe I should add a tie-breaker mechanic...
And thanks for all the feedback, I'm going to make an update to fix some bugs and add some features I wasn't able to due to the time constraints of the jam so that is very appreciated.
